Brothers and sisters
Scientists studying the development of the human embryo have noticed that in the first months of fetal life, it has a striking resemblance to other vertebrates. Thus, in a four week old fetus, the neck has noticeable fissures that resemble rudimentary gills. Later, a human embryo will be similar to amphibians, then birds and finally other mammals. So isn’t the artist saying that humans, worms and fish are brothers and sisters? It seems it’s already been said.
