Anatomy of the world
Regardless of what the viewer’s imagination will fill the painting with, „Anatomy of the world” could serve well as an icon in the temple of solipsism – an idealistic vision of a world in which only a thinking subject is recognised as real and undoubted. Everything else, except the Sky, exists only in the mind of the subject and ceases to exist as soon as he „throws” it out of his head. Although some solipsists believe that the sky too disappears if it is not looked at.
